Lincoln City - Police Station

The city was in need of a new Police Station. It was decades old, had failing HVAC systems, and
was never intended to b a Police Station. With lots of planning and City Council support we decided
to build a new building for our Police Department. We were able to utilize money from the Transient
Room Tax to fund a majority of the cost. After renovations and re-designing it, we were able to build
a new Police Station within the budget. In this process, we also upgraded our PD communications
network at a reduced cost. Our building is able to house conferences and hold educational talks and
seminars. The building design was chosen to blend in with the coastal landscape. It is a beautifully
made building that brings our PD closer into our community.
