Utility Billing

When cities provide utilities, they must have code that addresses the various aspects of utility services and billing. Some cities choose to post their billing rates online and others choose to send rate fliers to residents via mail. Most utility fees are calculated through a base rate plus a fee per unit used. The code also designates the billing period for utilities.
