Noise Nuisance Property

Noise ordinances are designed to regulate the adverse impacts that may come from noise nuisance. The way the noise and its impacts may be measure vary from city to city but many practice a "reasonable person standard." If the noise is disruptive to a reasonable person, it is considered excessive. This allows code enforcement officers to regulate noise without noise measurement equipment.
