Call to Action: Urge Legislators to Prioritize Infrastructure Funding
The LOC is urging all city leaders to contact their state legislators - first with an email, then a follow up phone call - asking them to speak with Joint Ways and Means Co-Chairs Senator Kate Lieber and Representative Tawna Sanchez, as well as the Co-Chairs of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Economic Development, Senator Aaron Woods and Representative David Gomberg, about the urgent need for infrastructure investment.
If you need help finding your legislator’s contact information, you can use this link: Find Your Legislator
The following is a suggested copy for your email to your legislator:
Dear Senator/Representative,
Infrastructure for needed housing is a top priority for our community. The Water Caucus Water Investment Needs Survey alone show a $5.2 billion need, and here is what it means for our community.
[share your infrastructure needs story]
We kindly request you have a conversation with Joint Ways and Means Co-Chairs Senator Kate Lieber and Representative Tawna Sanchez, as well as Co-Chairs of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Economic Development, Senator Aaron Woods and Representative David Gomberg, about the critical need for sustained infrastructure funding this session.
