Has Your City Registered for CRF Funding?
For the last several weeks, the LOC has been sharing information with its members about the use of Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) resources available through the federal CARES Act. The LOC has fought hard on behalf of its member cities for access to these funds to reimburse COVID-19 related costs and allow cities to stand up programs to benefit residents.
As of this week, 59 eligible cities have yet to register - see if your city is on the list of cities who need to register. The portal was created by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services to give cities a more fluid process for submitting COVID-19 related expenses for reimbursement. If a city does not register, it will not have access to CRF funds.
It is critical that all cities register now so their residents may benefit from these resources. The links below connect with resources to help with the registration process:
