Mandatory Annual Housing Unit and Population Survey Due Today, August 16
As mandated by Oregon law (ORS 190.510 to 190.620), Portland State University's Population Research Center (PRC) collects housing unit and population information for Oregon's annual population estimates. These estimates help the state distribute its revenue and support decision-makers and planners. Accurate completion of this survey is essential to prepare the certified population estimates. The response is required per ORS 190.590
Last month, the PRC's contact person in each city across the state received a link (by email) to the online 2024 Annual Housing Unit and Population Survey (AHUPS). The link to the survey, username, and password were included in the email.
The deadline to submit the completed survey is August 16.
