The Albany Police Department is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Police Business Manager to lead our business services team and ensure the effective management of departmental operations. In this critical role, you will oversee budget development and administration, resource planning, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing the department’s budget processes, supervising staff, and developing strategic goals aligned with our mission to serve and protect the community.
You will play a key role in implementing policies and procedures, monitoring program expenses, and ensuring compliance with adopted budgets. As part of the department's leadership team, you will conduct complex operational analyses, manage grants and contracts, and oversee facility operations. Your ability to foster a high-performance work culture, mentor staff, and maintain positive community relations will be essential as you drive initiatives that enhance our service delivery.
