A Statement from League of Oregon Cities President Keith Mays
On Saturday, December 18, the League of Oregon Cities (LOC) Board of Directors received a complaint against Executive Director Mike Cully. As the collective representative of Oregon’s 241 cities, the League of Oregon Cities places the highest priority on the ethical and professional conduct of its employees. The LOC takes all allegations of misconduct very seriously.
To uphold our obligation to our member cities and our stakeholders, I convened a meeting of the LOC Executive Committee in executive session Sunday afternoon to acknowledge and review this complaint.
Following today’s meeting, I am now calling for a special meeting of the full LOC Board of Directors on Monday, December 20, with an executive session at 5:30 p.m., followed by a public meeting of the board.
